Notes on documents

You will need to submit the following documents:

• Your original APS certificate. We do not accept copies, not even if they are officially certified (for online-only applications an online upload is sufficient). If you obtained an APS certificate through the TestAS-Verfahren, your TestAS results must be verified in your My-assist-Account.
• Your school leaving certificate. Please note that provisional certificates from the examination authorities (giấy chứng nhận (tạm thời)) can only be accepted for a limited period of one semester after graduation. After this period the official Degree certificate (Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Trung Học Phổ Thông) must be submitted
• Your national upper school exam results (Kỳ Thi Tốt Nghiệp Trung Học Phổ Thông Quốc Gia)
• For DSD-1 and DSD-2 you are required to hand in a certificate of the German Language Diploma I or II (Deutsches Sprachdiplom) issued by the KMK as well as the original attestation by the DSD coordinator to verify your identity
• Your university diploma including an overview of subjects and grades (if applicable)

Additional information

If you completed university studies in Vietnam, the Academic Testing Centre in Hanoi ("Akademische Prüfstelle", APS) needs to check and certify your academic performance. This needs to be done irrespective of your citizenship, whether or not you have also completed studies in another country.
