When can I upload my documents?

You can upload your documents at any time – it does not matter whether you have already submitted an online application form or not. The most important thing is that you upload all of the required documents before the application deadline expires.

The processing time for your documents begins once you have submitted an online application form. In view of this, we recommend to submit your online application forms as early as possible, at least 8 weeks before the deadline expires. This ensures that we can inform you in time if documents are missing.

What should I keep in mind when uploading my documents?

The following applies to all uploads:

  • Create scans of your documents and save them as PDF files.
  • The scans must be complete and clearly legible.
  • We need scans of your official certificates. Official certificates are those bearing a signature and stamp from the issuing institution, a reference to their automatic issuance or a verification code. Other prerequisities may apply.
  • For certain countries, there are additional notes on documents. Check our Info country by country for more information.

You will find additional notes on uploading documents in the upload section in your My assist account.
