Setting up special study programmes
More and more universities make use of targeted propaedeutic measures to ease entry into higher education for refugees. However, to ensure a smooth transition into their study programmes, universities require early assessment of entrance qualifications.
In order to achieve this, uni-assist offers universities the option to set up so-called "special study programmes" in addition to regular programmes with set deadlines and entry criteria in order to enable early HZB examinations. These programmes may contain all kinds of special study programmes for the target audience, e. g. German language classes or pre-university introductory courses.
- Universities may use special study programmes to simplify the university entrance qualification exam for their chosen candidates.
- Universities may directly counsel persons who apply to special study programmes and place them into appropriate study programmes.
- Universities may individually set deadlines, language requirements and other criteria.
If preferred, uni-assist can also evaluate only the university entrance qualification regardless of regular deadlines or other criteria!
