Evaluation result

Have you received your evaluation result from uni assist? Find out here about the next steps.

We received your completed application within the deadline and it fulfilled all of the university's criteria. Once we have forwarded applications using the standard procedure, the university’s admissions office is responsible for the further evaluation of your application. The university will then decide whether to admit you to studies and inform you about all further steps.

  • Several admission offers: If you are offered admission at several universities, you are free to decide which one you want to study at.
  • Special VPD procedure: For applications using the VPD procedure we issue the preliminary review documentation (Vorprüfungsdokumentation, VPD)as a PDF, which you download from your My assist account under „My inbox“. You then apply directly to the university with your VPD for your chosen course.
  • Special hochschulstart.de (DoSV) procedure: For applications using the DoSV procedure, you will see in your hochschulstart.de account when one of your chosen universities offers you admission. You can accept the offer online there.

Documents were missing or uploaded in My assist too late. We can only forward applications that meet all of the university’s criteria.

  • You can upload missing documents up until the application deadline. We will then evaluate your application again and inform you of the result.
  • We cannot consider any documents submitted after the deadline. Your option in that case is to apply again in a later semester.

Applying for a student applicant visa

You can start applying for a student applicant visa (Studienbewerber-Visum) at many German embassies or consulates with a positive result from uni-assist.

Please note however, that some consulates do not issue student applicant visas, only student visas.
