After registering, you will receive an activation link by email. The activation link is valid for 24 hours. Check to see whether the email is in your spam folder. Use the link to activate your account.
First steps
After you log into your account for the first time, we will need some information from you.
Enter your personal information
Enter your personal information correctly. Your details must match the information in your identification documents.
Do you have several citizenships? Then please enter them all.
Enter your contact information
Enter an address that we can reach you at. We will forward this address to the university.
Enter your BID/BAN from hochschulstart.de
If you are applying for a course of studies that uses the dialogue-oriented service procedure (DoSV), enter your applicant ID (“Bewerber-ID“, BID) and applicant authentication number (“Bewerber-Authentifizierungs-Nummer“, BAN) from hochschulstart here.
Not sure whether the course of studies you are applying for uses the DoSV? Then you can skip this step at this stage.
Enter your educational history
Answer all the questions about your educational history completely. The documents that you upload will verify all of the relevant information.
You have applied online?
You did it! We can now evaluate your application.
You can track the status of your application online via your My assist account. This is also where we will inform you about the evaluation result.
Your chosen university will then decide on your admission and inform you of the decision.
