Notes on uploading documents

General information

  • Scan your documents and save them as PDF files.
  • The scans must be complete and clearly legible.
  • We need scans of your official certificates. Official certificates are those bearing a signature and stamp from the issuing institution, a reference to their automatic issuance or a verification code. Other prerequisities may apply.
  • For certain countries, there are additional notes on documents. Check our Info country by country for more information.

You will find further general information on uploading documents in the upload section in your My assist account.

Deadlines for uploading documents

For uploading documents, the deadline of your chosen course applies.

The processing time begins once you have submitted an online application form.

We recommend that you submit your online application as early as possible, ideally at least 8 weeks before the deadline expires. This ensures that we can inform you in time if any documents are missing.

Applying to multiple universities

The upload section in My assist is the same for all applications, so we need each document once only, even if you are applying to multiple universities or for several courses of study.

You can upload an individual letter of motivation or CV for each application. If you want to use the same version for all of your applications, one copy of each will be sufficient.

You have applied online?

You did it! We can now evaluate your application.
You can track the status of your application online via your My assist account. This is also where we will inform you about the evaluation result.
Your chosen university will then decide on your admission and inform you of the decision.
