Notes on documents

If you have a school leaving certificate from Portugal, you will need to submit the following documents:

• Your school leaving certificate

And one of the following documents:

• Written confirmation from the “Direção-Geral do Ensino Superior“ (DGES) with a direct allocation of a place at a university in Portugal
• A Certificate of enrolment
• A letter of admission from a recognised Portuguese university

Evidence of participation in the "Exames Nacionais" is not sufficient.

Notes on translations

Since there are no sworn translators in Portugal, we accept translations from: 

• translators who are on the list of the German Embassy Lisbon 
• translators whose signature has been confirmed by a translation certificate (Certificado de Tradução)/Termo de Responsabilidade from a lawyer, solicitor or notary in Portugal
